How Long do My PVC Bows Last?

I’ve been getting a lot of questions bout how long a PVC pipe bow will last. I don’t have any of the bows from my childhood (garage sales and moving seems to have stripped me of all my childhood possessions), and I’ve only been making PVC bows for a few years. The oldest bow I still have, and one of my first serious attempts at getting performance out of PVC pipe is the bow in the video, a 60 pound full round bow. It’s over two years old, been shot at the very least five thousand times, and despite being full round get decent FPS (just enough to hunt with if need be). So here it is, just a little bit of my own opinion and personal experience regarding PVC bow life.
